Job summary

Manay CPA, a global accounting and advisory firm, seeks a bilingual Accounting Associate to work remotely from the United States. You will deliver accurate bookkeeping and tax support for diverse Turkish-speaking clients, collaborating with a manager and associates.

Responsibilities include onboarding clients, daily bookkeeping, monthly closes, tax returns, and financial reporting, with potential relocation to a Marietta office noted as a plus.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in accounting or related field; Master’s a plus.
• Minimum 2 years of professional bookkeeping/accounting experience.
• Strong working knowledge of GAAP.
• Fluency in Turkish and English, written and spoken.
• CPA license or CPA track candidates prioritized.
• Experience with accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Xero) and both for-profit and not-for-profit accounting.

Responsibilities

• Onboard new clients and set up accounting records per established processes.
• Record day-to-day bookkeeping, AR/AP, monthly closes, and financial reporting.
• Prepare U.S. tax returns for corporate and individual clients.
• Prepare sales tax returns and payroll tax reviews; support payroll processes.
• Assist with audits, balance sheet reconciliations, and ad hoc reporting.
• Help document and improve processes to enhance accuracy and efficiency.
