Job summary

Manay CPA is a global accounting and advisory firm based in Atlanta, GA, seeking a bilingual Accounting Associate to join remotely from the United States. You will deliver accurate accounting and tax support for a diverse client base, with a focus on Turkish-speaking clients and potential relocation to our Marietta office.

Responsibilities include onboarding new clients, daily bookkeeping, tax returns, and audits support, while collaborating with managers and associates to meet deadlines.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in accounting or related field; Master's degree a plus.
• Minimum 2 years of professional bookkeeping and accounting experience.
• Strong working knowledge of GAAP.
• Fluency in Turkish and English, written and spoken.
• CPA license or CPA track prioritized; other certifications considered.
• CPA firm/public accounting experience is a big plus.
• Hands-on tax experience required; international tax experience a strong plus.
• 2+ years of experience with accounting software; for-profit and not-for-profit handling is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Onboard new clients and set up their accounting records.
• Perform daily bookkeeping, monthly closes, and financial reporting.
• Prepare and file U.S. corporate and individual tax returns.
• Prepare sales tax and depreciation schedules; review payroll records.
• Complete monthly balance sheet reconciliations and ad hoc reporting.
• Assist in year-end audit schedules and audits.
• Maintain accurate digital and physical records; document processes.
• Identify opportunities to automate spreadsheets and systems.
