Job summary

Manay CPA Accounting & Tax Services seeks a bilingual Accounting Associate to deliver accurate accounting and tax support for a diverse client base, with a focus on Turkish-speaking clients. You will onboard new clients, manage daily bookkeeping, and prepare U.S.

corporate and individual tax returns while collaborating with a small, international team from a US-based home office. The role requires a Bachelor's (Master's preferred) with at least 2 years of bookkeeping experience, GAAP knowledge,

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a relevant field; Master's degree is a plus.
• Minimum 2 years of professional bookkeeping and accounting experience
• Fluency in Turkish and English, written and spoken
• CPA license or CPA track candidates will be prioritized
• Experience with accounting software and reporting for for‑profit and not‑for‑profit organizations

Responsibilities

• Guide new clients through onboarding, following our established process and setting up their accounting records
• Support client acquisition and retention by delivering responsive, high-quality service
• Handle daily bookkeeping, including accounts payable and receivable, monthly closes, and financial reporting and analysis
• Prepare and file U.S. corporate and individual income tax returns
• Prepare sales tax returns, depreciation schedules, and payroll reviews, and reconcile payroll records
• Complete monthly balance sheet reconciliations, client inventory records, management reports, and ad hoc reporting
• Prepare year-end audit schedules and assist throughout the audit process
• Keep digital and physical financial records accurate and up to date
• Document, design, and test processes that affect financial statements
• Identify opportunities to automate systems and spreadsheets for efficiency
• Partner with manager and Associates to meet client deadlines
• Support payroll, special projects, and other related duties as assigned
