Job summary

DICK'S Sporting Goods in Mentor, OH is seeking a Bike Technician to provide a differentiated cycling experience. You will build and repair bicycles to established procedures, and use customer insights to recommend products that fit their needs.

You will engage customers in the Bike Department, uphold presentation standards, promote loyalty programs, and support store operations with a team-first mindset.

Qualifications

• Prior experience of building, repairing, and selling bicycles is preferred.
• Ability to stand, bend, stoop, reach, push, pull and lift 15 to 35 lbs. occasionally (up to 5 times per hour).
• Ability to stand or walk for extended periods (up to 4 hours).

Responsibilities

• Build and repair bicycles according to established procedures.
• Provide strong product recommendations based on customer needs and cycle trends.
• Create a world-class customer experience through bike department engagement.
• Maintain merchandise presentation to company standards.
• Support other tasks as assigned by management.
