Job summary

DICK’S Sporting Goods is seeking a Bike Technician to build and repair bikes and to deliver a differentiated customer experience in the Bike Department. You will fix bicycles to established procedures and engage customers with product knowledge to recommend gear and accessories.

This role emphasizes safe handling, presentation standards, and teamwork, with opportunities to promote warranty and loyalty programs while helping customers select the right gear for their sport.

Qualifications

• Prior experience building, repairing, and selling bicycles preferred.
• Ability to stand, bend, reach, push, pull and lift 15 to 35 lbs.
• Ability to stand/walk for up to 4 hours.

Responsibilities

• Build and repair bikes according to established procedures.
• Provide passionate customer service and sell through customer engagement in the Bike Department.
• Maintain merchandise presentation to company standards.
• Promote warranty sales and Scorecard loyalty program.
• Assist with the assembly of exercise equipment as needed.
• Follow safety, loss prevention and SOPs.
