Job summary

DICK'S Sporting Goods is seeking a Bike Technician to deliver a differentiated customer experience by building and repairing bicycles to established standards. You will engage cyclists, recommend parts and accessories, and ensure bikes are ready for ride-ready use.

This role requires the ability to stand, lift up to 35 lbs., and work across the store’s bike department with a focus on safety and accuracy. Prior bicycle repair experience is preferred, and a passion for sports helps you connect

Qualifications

• Prior experience building, repairing, and selling bicycles preferred.
• Ability to stand, bend, stoop, reach, push, pull and lift 15 to 35 lbs. items occasionally (up to 5 times per hour).
• Ability to work extended periods of time (up to 4 hours) standing or walking.

Responsibilities

• Provide passionate customer service and sell through the Bike Department.
• Uphold Bike Department merchandise presentation standards.
• Interact with customers with passion and product knowledge.
• Promote warranty sales, Scorecard, and seasonal promotions.
• Achieve sales goals by selling bikes and related gear.
• Build and repair bikes; assist with equipment assembly as needed.
• Maintain Bike Department signage and presentation to standards.
• Follow safety, loss prevention and SOPs; protect company information.
• Support the store with an all-hands-on-deck approach.
• Perform other tasks as assigned by management.
