Sun & Ski Sports in Houston, TX seeks a driven Hardgoods Coordinator to lead our Bike & Snow departments. You will guide a high-performing team, streamline operations, and deliver memorable, customer-focused experiences in a fast-paced outdoor retail setting.

Bring 1+ year of management and 2+ years in bike/snow sports retail. You’ll train staff, drive sales, and represent the brand at local events while collaborating with store leadership and corporate partners.

Qualifications

• 1+ years of management experience leading a team.
• 2+ years in retail bike shop and snow sports industry.
• Outdoor Enthusiast with passion for cycling, skiing/snowboarding, water sports.
• Proven talent in networking, recruiting, interviewing, training, and team development.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with cross-functional partners.
• Strong organizational and time management abilities with multi-tasking.
• Analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.

Responsabilités

• Supervise operations, including opening and closing the store as needed.
• Ensure exceptional customer service and exceed expectations.
• Provide high-quality bike service and maintain equipment integrity.
• Train and develop team members; drive continuous improvement.
• Create strategic plans to increase department sales using data and goals.
• Maintain an appealing department that meets company standards.
• Identify issues and propose viable, results-oriented solutions.
• Ensure adherence to company policies and procedures.
• Attend Bike & Snow clinics to stay updated on products.
• Represent Sun & Ski Sports within local cycling and snow communities.
• Support bike and cycling events; strengthen community ties.
• Communicate with Store Manager, District Manager, and Home Office.
• Uphold Loss Prevention standards and cash controls.
