Qualifications

• Advanced experience in ERP systems and Microsoft Office Suite.
• Understanding of job costing, bid-to-actual results, and variance analysis.
• Experience with Heavy Bid or equivalent.
• Ability to build a project to determine the best estimation approach.
• Knowledge of industry-specific lines of business and state specifications for traffic control.

Responsibilities

• Develop bidding strategies with Branch Manager and Market Manager, determining target work types and locations.
• Lead bid review calls and perform cash flow analysis for larger projects.
• Ensure compliance with state/local tax laws and pre-qualifications; coordinate with the finance team.
• Collaborate with Market Manager, Sr. Estimator, and Operations to refine costing and margins.
• Complete and submit the monthly Bid Pipeline report in a timely manner.
• Engage customers and agencies regarding scheduling, scope changes, and disputes.
• Represent the company at industry events and build networking opportunities.
• Promote safety, ethics, and a my-safe-work culture in all bidding activities.
