Job summary

LifeWise Academy seeks a part-time teacher to share the gospel with students in a classroom setting using LifeWise curriculum. The ideal candidate is an active church participant with strong communication and interpersonal skills, and is caring and perceptive in teaching children.

The role requires completing the LifeWise Teacher Certification within 30 days, participating in LifeWise Summit, attending Teachers' Lounges, maintaining attendance and records, and promoting LifeWise's religious

Qualifications

Two years of classroom teaching experience in school or church setting.
Mature Christian faith aligned with LifeWise Academy Statement of Faith.
Active participation in a local church whose doctrine aligns with LifeWise beliefs.

Responsibilities

Complete training and LifeWise Teacher Certification within 30 days.
Teach LifeWise Classes using the LifeWise curriculum and map curriculum customization.
Invest in building relationships with students and pray for them regularly.
Maintain an organized, redemptive classroom environment and apply LifeWise policies.
Take attendance, maintain rosters, and prepare materials for substitutes.
Communicate with school personnel, volunteers, and program director; promote LifeWise's mission.
