Job summary

LifeWise Academy is seeking a Part-Time LifeWise Teacher to share the gospel in public school classrooms, combining in-depth Bible knowledge with strong teaching abilities. The ideal candidate is an active church participant with excellent communication and interpersonal skills, and a caring, perceptive approach to students.

You will complete initial and ongoing training, earn LifeWise Teacher Certification within 30 days, participate in the annual LifeWise Summit, and teach using the LifeWise

Qualifications

• Two years of classroom teaching experience with students in school or church settings.
• Mature Christian faith aligned with LifeWise Academy Statement of Faith.
• Active participation in a local church whose doctrine aligns with LifeWise.

Responsibilities

• Teach LifeWise Classes using the LifeWise curriculum and map curriculum customization.
• Complete initial and ongoing training and obtain certification within 30 days.
• Attend the LifeWise Summit annually and participate in Teachers' Lounge/Meet-Up each year.
• Maintain attendance, rosters, health notes, and substitute materials as needed.
• Foster an organized, encouraging classroom and build relationships with students.
• Communicate with school personnel and volunteers; promote LifeWise's mission.
