Job summary

LifeWise Academy seeks a part-time LifeWise teacher to share the gospel in public school classrooms. The ideal candidate is an active church participant with strong communication and interpersonal skills, caring and perceptive, and proficient in teaching children.

Responsibilities include training, teaching LifeWise classes, maintaining records, and engaging with schools and volunteers to support student well-being and faith-based learning.

Qualifications

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for interacting with students and schools.
• Active participation in a local church and alignment with LifeWise beliefs.
• Ability to teach and manage a classroom in a way that is redemptive.

Responsibilities

• Complete Initial and Ongoing Training, including certification.
• Teach LifeWise Classes using the LifeWise curriculum and customize as needed.
• Maintain attendance, health notes and class rosters; pass information to leadership.
• Keep a clean, organized classroom and manage materials and emergencies.
• Communicate with schools, volunteers and program directors; promote LifeWise mission.
