Job summary

LifeWise Academy is seeking a part-time teacher to share the gospel in public school classrooms. The role requires two years of classroom teaching experience and a mature Christian faith aligned with LifeWise’s beliefs, plus active local church involvement.

You will complete the LifeWise Teacher Certification within 30 days, attend annual LifeWise events, and maintain attendance, rosters and classroom standards while building relationships with students and volunteers.

Qualifications

• Minimum of two years of classroom teaching experience.
• Mature Christian faith in agreement with the LifeWise Academy Statement of Faith
• Active participation in a local church whose doctrine aligns with What We Believe in LifeWise Academy’s Faith Statement

Responsibilities

• Complete Initial and Ongoing Training, including LifeWise Teacher Certification within 30 days of start date.
• Teach LifeWise Classes using the LifeWise curriculum and build relationships with students.
• Maintain attendance records and class rosters, including health concerns and permissions.
• Maintain a clean, organized classroom and manage emergency procedures as needed.
• Communicate with school personnel, volunteers and program director; promote LifeWise religious mission.
