Job summary

Heidelberg Distributing Company is seeking a sales route associate to call on assigned retail accounts, check product freshness, and build relationships. You will merchandise accounts with current POS and meet area standards.

The role requires a high school diploma, a valid driver's license, and willingness to drive to multiple locations. Weekend/early hours may be required; experience in beverage sales is a plus.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED required.
• Valid Driver’s License and must be 21 years of age.
• Must be able to drive to multiple locations and maintain insurance.
• Beverage and consumer product sales experience a plus.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office preferred.
• Ability to work with minimal supervision and multitask.

Responsibilities

• Execute programs to drive key supplier sales objectives.
• Assist Sales Professionals with display builds and positioning with proper pricing and POS.
• Be knowledgeable of current sales goals to assist with opportunities.
• Assist Sales and Operations with product delivery.
• Maintain retail call frequency as required.
• Pre-work daily for next day calls with correct merchandise.
• Audit accounts for POS compliance and freshness.
• Develop Sales Support Route and improve route efficiency.
• Support in coverage during vacations.
• Respond to retailer questions and resolve concerns.
• Ensure compliance with all policies and guidelines.
