Job summary

Heidelberg Distributing Company is seeking a Sales Support professional to call on assigned retail accounts, check product freshness, and rotate stock while building lasting relationships and meeting account objectives.

You will assist Sales Pros with display builds, ensure correct pricing and current POS, and coordinate product deliveries. A high school diploma, a valid driver’s license, and willingness to travel are required.

Qualifications

• High School diploma/GED required.
• Valid Driver’s License and must be 21 years of age.
• Must drive to multiple locations and maintain sufficient insurance.
• Beverage and consumer product sales experience a plus.
• Must learn specific computer programs; Microsoft Office preferred.
• Very outgoing with strong self-direction.
• Work with minimal supervision; ability to set priorities and multitask.

Responsibilities

• Execute programs to drive key supplier sales objectives.
• Assist Sales Professionals with display builds; ensure displays are positioned in impactful locations with current POS.
• Be knowledgeable of sales goals to assist opportunity identification.
• Assist Sales and Operations with product delivery.
• Maintain retail call frequency as required.
• Pre-work daily to prepare for next day calls; ensure correct merchandise.
• Audit accounts during sales calls to ensure POS compliance.
• Monitor product freshness and loss; manage route performance.
• Develop Sales Support Route; assist in coverage during vacations.
• Respond to retailer questions and concerns; ensure compliance with policies.
