Job summary

Heidelberg Distributing Company in Ohio is seeking a full-time Sales Representative to call on assigned retail accounts, check product freshness, rotate stock, and build lasting relationships while meeting area objectives.

You will merchandise accounts with current POS materials, assist Sales Professionals with displays, manage deliveries, and maintain routine store calls, with a flexible schedule.

Must be 21+, hold a valid driver's license, and be prepared to work weekends or holidays as needed.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED required.
• Valid Driver's License and must be 21 years of age.
• Must drive to multiple locations and maintain insurance.
• Beverage and consumer product sales experience a plus.
• Learn specific computer programs; Microsoft Office preferred.
• Very outgoing along with strong self-direction.
• Work with minimal supervision and multitask.

Responsibilities

• Execute programs to drive key supplier sales objectives.
• Assist with display builds and ensure displays are positioned effectively with current POS.
• Identify opportunities by understanding current sales goals.
• Assist Sales and Operations with product delivery.
• Maintain retail call frequency as required.
• Prepare daily for calls with correct merchandise to keep accounts up to date.
• Audit accounts during sales calls to ensure POS standards.
• Monitor product freshness and minimize losses.
• Develop Sales Support Route and improve performance and efficiency.
• Assist in sales route coverage during vacations.
• Respond to retailer questions and concerns.
• Ensure compliance with legal guidelines and company policies.
• Participate in a team environment with transparent feedback.
