Job summary

Columbia Distributing is seeking Sales Representatives to grow beverage sales across local markets. You will manage accounts, plan territory, merchandise, and communicate objectives with suppliers and customers.

The role requires at least two years in beverage sales, a valid driver’s license, CSP training, and Cicerone Level 1 within one year. This is a full-time position with local travel and a strong benefits package.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED required.
• Certified Sales Professional (CSP) training required.
• Cicerone level 1 within 1 year of start date.
• Minimum two years of beverage sales experience.
• Valid driver’s license and auto insurance required.

Responsibilities

• Secure beverage sales and grow accounts through territory planning and selling.
• Manage inventory expenses in accordance with policy.
• Interact respectfully with inter-company departments, suppliers and customers.
• Support rotating and merchandising of product.
• Complete required training to improve performance and effectiveness.
• Maintain industry knowledge of beer, non-alcoholic, food journals, trends and market share.
• Submit all reports, preplans, trackers, surveys, and expense reports by the due date.
• Sell the Columbia Distributing portfolio in all assigned accounts.
• Achieve MVP standards in accounts surveyed and drive distribution goals.
