Job summary

Refresco is hiring a production associate at its New York area beverage facility. You will support the production lines, ensure health and safety, and maintain quality records while adhering to GMPs and hygiene standards.

The role requires 1–3 years in manufacturing, a High School diploma, and the ability to read measurements. Forklift certification is a plus; expect varied shifts and overtime in a fast-paced plant environment.

Qualifications

• High School Certification or equivalent.
• 1-3 years of manufacturing experience preferred.
• Experience in high-speed beverage production is a plus.
• Forklift certification may be required.
• Ability to read imperial/metric measurements.
• Strong problem-solving and teamwork skills.

Responsibilities

• Adhere to health and safety policies, GMPs, and wear required PPE in warehouse or production areas.
• Adhere to food quality and safety standards (e.g., SQF).
• Read, understand, and follow the production schedule and communicate deviations.
• Maintain production flow by supplying raw materials and performing minor servicing as needed.
• Follow SOPs and perform equipment changeovers; read imperial/metric measurements.
• Record production and quality data; maintain accurate downtime and documentation.
• Perform sanitation and general maintenance tasks as assigned by leadership.
• Collaborate with all departments to improve quality, efficiency, and reduce waste.
• Identify production or machine issues from visual/auditory cues and escalate as needed.
• Perform any other duties including cross-training and inventory management.
