Job summary

Electrical Automation Services is seeking a highly skilled Controls Engineer for our Glendale, AZ facility, with an on-site role in Scottsdale. The successful candidate will act as the on-shift controls expert, troubleshooting PLCs, HMIs, drives, and networks, and guiding maintenance teams through complex automation challenges.

Ideal candidates will have 4+ years in high-speed manufacturing automation, strong PLC/HMI skills, and the ability to read electrical schematics; relocation assistance is

Qualifications

• Associate degree or higher in engineering technology or related field.
• 4+ years automation/controls in high-speed manufacturing.
• Strong PLC troubleshooting and programming capabilities.

Responsibilities

• Serve as on-shift controls and automation expert.
• Provide Tier 1 and Tier 2 troubleshooting for production equipment.
• Diagnose PLC, HMI, VFD, servo, instrumentation and network issues.
• Develop and execute controls projects to improve safety, quality and throughput.
• Maintain documentation and backups; support commissioning and upgrades.
