Job summary

Sazerac Company is seeking a Market Development Representative to drive volume and distribution for our spirits brands across a dedicated territory. You will craft growth solutions, build brands with customers, and lead distributor collaboration to meet sales goals.

The role requires a bachelor's degree or equivalent, 1+ year of field sales in alcohol or CPG, and mobility to travel. A valid driver's license and flexible hours are essential. Location near the territory is preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
• Minimum 1 year of professional field sales experience in alcohol-beverage or CPG industries.
• Proven volume achievements and ability to deliver on distribution and retail promotional goals.
• Demonstrated use of sales data analytics to drive sales results.
• Valid driver's license and ability to travel within an assigned territory.
• Flexibility to work non-traditional hours, including evenings and weekends.
• Live in or near the territory and able to cover expenses as needed.
• Must obtain a solicitor's permit in any state.

Responsibilities

• Craft solutions to boost business for assigned accounts and drive market share.
• Build brands using consumer and category trends to educate customers and grow sales.
• Lead distributors with in-store selling, marketing, and account execution.
• Help achieve volume objectives for core brands in the portfolio.
• Design and execute programs for distribution, merchandising and promotions.
• Develop mutually valuable rapport with customers by understanding their needs.
• Serve as communication lead between customers, wholesalers, and internal teams.
• Monitor KPIs to ensure targets are met.
