This role builds on Level 1 skills, leads safety-critical work, and mentors junior technicians to promote reliability and a strong safety culture. Qualifications

• High school diploma required; associate degree preferred in Electrical/Mechanical.
• 6 years of experience in BESS operations, maintenance, or related electrical systems.
• Strong knowledge of high-voltage equipment, transformers, switchgear, and relays.
• Certifications such as OSHA, NFPA 70E are highly desirable.

Responsibilities

• Perform advanced preventive, predictive, and corrective maintenance on BESS equipment.
• Lead troubleshooting and perform root-cause analysis.
• Conduct testing, calibrations, and diagnostics of HV and LV systems.
• Coordinate high-voltage switching, grounding, and commissioning activities.
• Mentor Level 1 Technicians and collaborate with engineers and contractors.
• Review and update plant drawings and procedures.
• Oversee safety permits and JHAs.
