CAMS Renewable Services LLC is hiring a BESS Senior Technician to manage technicians, troubleshoot BESS site systems, and perform electrical repairs. The role requires knowledge of Balance of Plant electrical systems and grid-scale battery energy storage systems.

This position is based on a CAMS managed BESS site near Paris, TX. The Sr. Technician will guide dispatched BESS technicians across TX, uphold safety programs, and ensure quality in all maintenance tasks while traveling as needed.

Competenze

• Three years electrical knowledge/training in BESS or related systems.
• Ability to read and comprehend electrical schematics and manuals.
• Experience installing, maintaining and troubleshooting BESS systems preferred.
• Strong organization, communication, analytical, planning and customer service skills.
• Willingness to work on weekends and be on call.
• Must hold a valid driver’s license.

Mansioni

• Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on BESS systems and components.
• Replace/install hardware, inverters, and monitoring equipment.
• Conduct electrical testing using appropriate PPE procedures.
• Coordinate with OEM, ROC, and BOP for SOC balancing and testing.
• Initiate OEM warranty claims for repairs and parts.
• Prepare deliverables for O&M contracts as needed.
• Adhere to safety policies and participate in training sessions.
• Respond to emergencies during scheduled on-call times and travel as required.
• Maintain documentation and reporting for site activities.
• Carry out other tasks as assigned by the company.
