Job summary

Nexun, a fast-growing renewables platform, is seeking a Power/Flexibility Markets Analyst to lead the commercial development of Battery Energy Storage System (BESS) projects, including standalone and co-located solar-plus-storage. You will assess market structures, negotiate tolling agreements and PPAs, and optimize project monetization across RTB.

Based in Europe with focus on priority markets, the role requires strong market forecasting, financial modeling, and stakeholder management to

Qualifications

Degree in Energy Economics, Engineering, Mathematics, Physics, or Finance.
5–8 years in commercial/or offtake origination, PPA/tolling or energy trading.
Solid knowledge of electricity markets and BESS/renewable assets.

Responsibilities

Develop knowledge of electricity markets in at least one target market.
Monitor regulatory and market developments and evaluate impact on revenues.
Collect, analyze, and develop electricity price forecasts and revenue projections.
Analyze and compare route-to-market models and negotiate optimal role (merchant, tolling, PPA, floors).
Originate, negotiate, and close Tolling Agreements and PPAs with offtakers, utilities, traders.
Support business cases, financial models, and due diligence processes.
Build relationships with stakeholders across the BESS ecosystem and target countries.
