Redwood Materials in San Francisco, CA, seeks a Business Development Analyst for Energy Storage to grow the utility-scale BESS business, focusing on behind-the-meter use cases and building a strong pipeline.

You will work with Engineering, Commercial, and Finance to develop commercial offers, support RFPs and pricing, and engage customers to translate needs into solutions. This is an early-career role in a fast-moving startup environment, with travel as needed.

Competenze

• Bachelor's degree in engineering, business, or a related field.
• 1-5 years of experience in energy storage, utility-scale solar, grid-connected energy systems, or related energy fields.
• Strong communication skills across technical and commercial teams.
• Willingness to travel as needed.
• Exposure to ITC structuring or energy project economics is a plus.

Mansioni

• Support the development and management of a pipeline of Battery Energy Storage System (BESS) opportunities across hyper-scalers, independent power producers, developers, and industrial offtakers.
• Assist with customer engagements from initial outreach through commercial discussions and contract support.
• Begin building relationships within the BESS customer ecosystem and grow your network.
• Learn and develop enough technical depth to translate customer requirements into commercial offerings.
• Support RFP responses, pricing development, and ITC analysis including eligibility.
• Collaborate with Engineering, Commercial, and Finance teams to support project definition and delivery.
• Maintain accurate records, track deal progression, and help prepare pipeline reports and commercial documentation.
