Job summary

CoVolt Power is seeking an Engineer I - Battery Storage to shape utility-scale BESS projects. You will work with cross-functional teams to translate client RFPs into site designs, size equipment, and ensure compliance with codes and safety standards.

The role supports RFPs, risk reviews, and handover activities to Operations, driving value for customers. You will contribute to preconstruction execution, design reviews, and constructability assessments while leveraging BESS knowledge to improve

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in engineering or related field is required.
Strong understanding of BESS technology and related safety norms.
Experience with EPC projects for power/energy storage is preferred.

Responsibilities

Collaborate with multi-functional teams to translate client needs into site designs.
Size LV/MV equipment and develop site layouts in line with codes and standards.
Support RFPs, proposals, and risk assessments with clear technical input.
Maintain a repository of system requirements, manuals, and specifications.
Identify value engineering opportunities to reduce project cost.
Assist with procurement and subcontractor documentation alignment.
Help ensure safe, profitable project execution from preconstruction through handover.
