Job summary

SOLV Energy is seeking a BESS Engineer II responsible for the design and implementation of battery energy storage systems (BESS). This role, fully remote, requires strong knowledge of power systems and relevant industry standards.

The engineer will collaborate with various teams, manage third-party engineers, and oversee compliance with industry standards to ensure project success. Candidates must hold a Bachelor's degree and have at least 2 years of relevant experience.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of electrical engineering experience focused on BESS, renewables, or power systems.
• Knowledge of design, integration, and optimization of battery energy storage systems.
• Understanding of EPC engineering workflows and documentation.

Responsibilities

• Review design and engineering of BESS for compliance with requirements.
• Manage Engineers of Record and third-party partners.
• Develop and review specifications and technical documentation for BESS.
