The role supports bid responses and collaborates with engineering and project teams in a hybrid setting across multiple US locations. Responsibilities include drafting with AutoCAD, performing basic electrical calculations, staying current with NEC and NFPA 855, and preparing technical reports with accurate documentation.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering from an accredited institution.
• EIT (Engineer in Training) certification or on track to obtain it.
• Demonstrated proficiency in AutoCAD, Word, Excel, Teams, and Outlook
• Basic understanding of electrical engineering principles, including wire sizing, current calculations
• Basic knowledge of applicable building codes, engineering principles, and industry best practices
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy
• Ability to work effectively both independently and within a team environment
• Commitment to safety
• Strong sense of urgency

Responsibilities

• BESS Design Support: Create preliminary BESS layouts and single line diagrams using templates.
• CAD Drafting: Create and modify electrical engineering drawings using AutoCAD.
• Code and Regulatory Research: Research and stay current on NEC and NFPA 855.
• Project Collaboration: Participate in design reviews and collaborate with other engineering disciplines.
• Documentation and Reporting: Assist in the preparation of technical reports, calculations, and specifications.
