Qualifications

• This role requires a Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering from an accredited program.
• Engineer in Training (EIT) certification or on track to obtain it.
• Proficiency with AutoCAD, Word, Excel, Teams and Outlook; basic electrical engineering concepts.

Responsibilities

• Create preliminary BESS layouts and single line diagrams using templates.
• Review bid drawings for conformance to internal standards; document differences.
• Evaluate RFPs against standard designs; communicate unique specifications.
• Collaborate with Business Development and Estimating on RFP responses.
• Perform basic electrical calculations to support design.
• Create and modify electrical drawings using AutoCAD.
• Research electrical codes/standards (NEC, NFPA 855).
• Participate in design reviews and collaborate with project teams.
• Assist in preparing technical reports, calculations and specs; maintain documentation.
