Job summary

You will generate preliminary layouts and single-line diagrams, review bid drawings, evaluate RFPs, perform basic electrical calculations, and support CAD drafting with AutoCAD.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering from an accredited institution.
• EIT certification or on track to obtain it.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD, Word, Excel, Teams, and Outlook.
• Basic understanding of electrical engineering principles, including wire sizing and current calculations.
• Knowledge of building codes and industry best practices.
• Strong attention to detail and teamwork.

Responsibilities

• BESS Design Support: Create preliminary BESS layouts and single line diagrams using templates.
• CAD Drafting: Create and modify electrical engineering drawings using AutoCAD.
• Code and Regulatory Research: Research NEC and NFPA 855 requirements.
• Project Collaboration: Participate in design reviews with other engineering disciplines.
• Documentation and Reporting: Prepare technical reports and maintain design documentation.
