Job summary

HDR is seeking a BES Business Group Data Steward to lead data definition, sharing, and reuse across BES disciplines. This leadership role coordinates SMEs and authorities to enable data-driven decision making and project delivery excellence.

The role focuses on defining data practices, enabling reuse across projects, and aligning with BES strategy to support analytics, automation, and AI initiatives.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in a related field.
• Minimum 10 years of experience in Architecture Engineering industry.
• Experience leading diverse teams and working with data-centric solutions.

Responsibilities

• Establish and coordinate SME network to define technical standards and align with BES data practices.
• Develop and maintain business-aligned data definitions supporting models, reporting, automation, and AI use cases.
• Build alignment and consensus around data processes, priority, and usage.
• Promote responsible use of technical data including access, quality, and reuse.
• Govern externally sourced datasets including access, approvals, storage, and lifecycle considerations.
• Promote data fluency across the BES Business Group.
• Coordinate with Technology/Professional Services Directors to align data workflows with BES BG Strategy.
• Lead change management to drive adoption of data standards and tools across BES BG.
• Communicate and collaborate with other Data Stewards and Enterprise Data teams.
