Primary Responsibilities

1. Stack clean dishes on racks, ensuring that clean water and detergent are used in the dishwasher, delivering clean dishes to designated areas for use as time permits.
2. Rinse bus buckets, clean, and dry pots, pans, utensils, dough boxes, trash removal, and general cleaning of the work area.
3. Receive, unload, and rotate products from vendors as needed.
4. Perform general location maintenance.
5. Assist cooks with prep as needed.
6. Prepare the dishwashing machine for daily activity by opening and visually inspecting the machine for cracked or broken equipment and/or dishes as designated.
7. Identify broken and/or cracked dishes and discard them in the appropriate location.
8. Monitor dishwashing machine for correct operation and report machine malfunction and/or failure promptly.
9. Clean the dishwasher and surrounding area throughout the day and at the close of business day.

Position Requirements

1. Must be at least 18 years old.
2. Commitment to high standards.
3. Ability to work well under pressure.
4. Ability to remain standing and active for a 9-hour shift.
5. Ability to work in extreme temperatures.
6. Some heavy lifting (up to 75lbs).
