• Must be at least 18 years old
• Commitment to high standards
• Ability to work well under pressure
• Ability to remain standing and active for a 9-hour shift
• Ability to work in extreme temperatures
• Some heavy lifting (up to 75lbs)
• Stack clean dishes on racks, ensuring that clean water and detergent are used in the dishwasher, delivering clean dishes to designated areas for use as time permits, rinsing bus buckets, cleaning, and drying of pots, pans, utensils, dough boxes, trash removal, and general cleaning of the work area
• Receiving, unloading, and rotating products from vendors
• General location maintenance
• Assist cooks with prep as needed
• Prepare the dishwashing machine for daily activity by opening and visually inspecting the machine for cracked or broken equipment and/or dishes
• Identify broken and/or cracked dishes and discard appropriately
• Monitor dishwashing machine for correct operation and report malfunctions promptly
• Cleaning dishwasher and surrounding area throughout the day and at close of business
