Job summary

Hamilton County Developmental Disabilities Services seeks a Benefits Representative to assist individuals served in obtaining and maintaining public benefits, including Medicaid, Social Security, and SNAP. You will handle documentation in a paperless setting and communicate with JFS workers and team members to ensure waivers and eligibility are maintained.

The role is largely remote with at least one in-office day per week for mail processing and in-person meetings, including monthly team

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Experience with Government Agencies preferred.
• Ability to travel within Hamilton County.

Responsibilities

• Assist individuals with developmental disabilities in obtaining and maintaining public benefits such as Medicaid, Social Security, and SNAP.
• Process documentation and maintain records in a paperless environment with virtual forms.
• Work a largely remote schedule with at least one day per week in office for mail processing and in-person meetings.
• Coordinate with Job and Family Services and support staff to ensure eligibility and waiver maintenance.
• Travel to meeting sites as needed and provide information to staff and providers.
