Source Management in Birmingham, AL is seeking an Employee Benefits Specialist to support our benefits programs, including health, retirement, wellness, and leave management. This role focuses on administering enrollments, maintaining records, and answering employee benefits questions.

You will coordinate open enrollment, audit invoices, and generate reports while supporting Payroll and HR on special projects.

Qualifications

• 3-5 years of administrative, HR, or benefits experience preferred.
• Experience working with ADP Workforce Now is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Assist with employee benefit enrollments, changes, and terminations.
• Process benefits-related paperwork and maintain employee records.
• Respond to employee questions regarding health, dental, vision, life insurance, retirement, and other benefit programs.
• Coordinate open enrollment activities and employee communications.
• Assist with short-term disability and workers' compensation documentation.
• Communicate with insurance carriers, brokers, and third-party administrators regarding employee benefits issues.
• Audit benefits records and invoices to ensure accuracy.
• Prepare reports related to benefits, participation, and costs.
• Support the Payroll and HR department with special projects and benefits initiatives.
