Job summary

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• Two years of direct client service or customer-facing experience.
• Education substitution: 1 year of education for every 30 credit hours.

Responsibilities

• Learn to process benefit applications and determine eligibility.
• Manage a caseload for SNAP, Medicaid, Emergency Assistance/LIEAP, and School Clothing Vouchers.
• Learn to use department software to administer caseloads.
• Comprehend and adhere to complex policy regarding eligibility and issuance of benefits.
• Learn to conduct client interviews and analyze financial and social information.
• May obtain repayment for erroneously issued economic assistance.
• Perform related work as required.
