Group Management Services, Inc. in California is seeking a high-energy Benefits Sales Representative to engage with prospective clients through warm leads, using a consultative sales approach.

You will develop quotes, present proposals to decision makers at small businesses, and facilitate employee roll-outs for chosen benefit lines; the role includes base salary 65,000–75,000 with uncapped commissions, mileage and phone/gym reimbursements, and ongoing training.

Qualifications

• 1-2 years related experience required; Health insurance or customer service experience preferred.
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education and experience required
• Current state's Life and Health insurance license is required or may be obtained within 90 days; Valid driver's license is required for travel

Responsibilities

• Meet with prospective clients obtained through warm leads to discuss benefit options using a consultative sales approach — No cold calling!
• Develop quotes and create proposals based on clients' needs
• Walk through explanation of quotes and present proposal to decision makers of small businesses
• Facilitate employee roll-outs for appropriate benefit lines chosen
