Job summary

Marsh McLennan Agency is seeking a Benefits Account Executive to serve as the primary client and producer contact, manage benefit programs, renewals, and vendor relationships. The role emphasizes leadership, cross-functional collaboration, and delivering exceptional client service.

You will coordinate renewal strategies, enrollment meetings, and communications while supporting carriers and internal teams. Travel for client meetings is required, and bilingual Spanish is a plus.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree preferred
• 3+ years of experience managing a book of business at an insurance brokerage OR 3+ years of HR benefits experience
• Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, Power Point
• Ability to travel as needed for client meetings
• Ability to speak professionally and comfortably in front of others
• Demonstrate ability to prioritize & multi-task when needed
• Bilingual Spanish is a plus
• Ability to service our clients, vendors and co-workers effectively through problem solving, appropriate confidentiality, diplomacy, sensitivity and tactfulness
• Pro-active leadership in the overall administration of the Benefits Program
• Working knowledge of benefits products, services, and carriers/vendors

Responsibilities

• Primary point of contact with the Producer
• Manage the Client Insurance Program and agency workflows
• Coordinate renewal bid/RFP strategy and process
• Manage ongoing carrier/TPA/vendor renewal negotiations for clients
• Serve as primary contact with the client and ensure appropriate service levels
• Oversee development of communication booklets and enrollment meetings
• Schedule mid-year and renewal meetings and prepare materials
• Coordinate enrollment meetings with clients and carriers
