Wayne Farms LLC in North Carolina is seeking an Employee Benefit Specialist to serve as the central contact for LOA, Disability, and FMLA leaves, entering leave data and maintaining employee leave files while supporting the HR Manager and supervisor.

The role partners with Benefits, HR, and plant leaders to answer benefit questions, resolve enrollment issues, coordinate open enrollment events, and ensure compliance with federal, state, and local leave laws.

Formación

• Minimum one year experience within a human resources generalist environment; experience in leave administration preferred.
• Strong computer skills with the ability to work with Microsoft applications; Workday or similar system preferred.
• Must communicate effectively in English, both verbal and written, with internal and external customers.
• Ability to handle highly confidential information and demonstrate discretion.

Responsabilidades

• Manage FMLA, Disability and personal leave tasks and enter leave data in the system; monitor return-to-work dates.
• Serve as point of contact for employees, benefits and plant leaders; respond to benefit questions and assist with claims.
• Update enrollment and dependent verification in Workday; coordinate with Corporate Benefits when needed.
• Collaborate with Safety/EHS on Workers' Compensation; collect and organize required documentation.
• Liaise between carrier and employee to facilitate leave approval and benefit enrollment.
• Coordinate open enrollment events and communications with HR and employees.
• Educate employees on benefit plans and enrollment opportunities; support HR initiatives.
• Assist HR team on employee engagement projects and process improvement opportunities.
• Perform additional duties as assigned.
