Qualifications

• 3–5 years of experience in HR, leave administration, benefits, or related support.
• Experience providing direct, employee-facing support to employees and managers.
• Experience using an HRIS/HCM platform to support leave, benefits, ACA, reporting, and data auditing.
• Strong written and verbal communication; ability to explain benefits in plain language.
• Curiosity, initiative and problem-solving with process improvement examples.
• Intermediate to advanced Excel knowledge for reporting and data analysis.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities with accuracy and confidentiality.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate leave and accommodation cases from intake to resolution with internal and external partners.
• Explain leave programs to employees and managers in plain language with empathy and professionalism.
• Coordinate with healthcare providers, carriers, and third-party administrators on leave, disability, and benefits.
• Support benefits administration tasks, enrollments, COBRA, open enrollment, and HRIS data maintenance.
• Assist with new hire benefits orientations and employee education sessions.
• Maintain accurate records, support compliance reporting and ACA tracking, and validate data.
• Drive process improvements and communications to enhance program effectiveness.
