Job summary

Prologis is seeking a Benefits Analyst to support the administration and delivery of employee benefits programs, with a focus on leave of absence administration and health/welfare plan administration. The role guides employees and managers through leave processes, coordinates with external administrators, and collaborates with HR, Payroll, and HRIS to resolve issues accurately and on time.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience in employee benefits or HR operations.
• Experience administering leaves and health/welfare benefits.
• Knowledge of FMLA, ADA, disability leave, and state programs.
• Experience with HRIS and MS Office applications.

Responsibilities

• Administer employee leaves from intake through return to work, including FMLA, state and local leaves, disability, parental, personal, and military leave, and other applicable company or statutory programs.
• Guide employees through leave eligibility, documentation, pay, benefits, and return-to-work requirements with clear, timely, and empathetic communication.
• Coordinate with leave and disability administrators to initiate cases, monitor claims, resolve service issues, and follow up on key dates such as leave start, benefit exhaustion, and expected return.
• Maintain accurate leave records and ensure leave status and related information are reflected correctly in Workday and vendor systems.
• Partner with Payroll, HR Business Partners, HRIS, managers, and vendors to coordinate pay, benefit deductions, employee status, and return-to-work processing.
• Administer health and welfare plan transactions, including enrollment, eligibility, coverage changes, qualifying life events, terminations, new-hire enrollment, and COBRA coordination.
• Audit enrollment, eligibility, payroll deduction, and vendor data; investigate discrepancies, maintain confidential documentation, and elevate complex compliance or accommodation matters as appropriate.
