Job summary

Tyson Foods, Inc. is seeking a Leave Administration professional to manage complex leave programs across the organization. The role handles FMLA and non-FMLA leaves via a Third-Party Administrator, initiates seasonal layoffs, and ensures accurate leave balances and reporting.

Responsibilities include processing LOA/STD data, coordinating with HR and Nursing for return-to-work options, and verifying insurance premiums for unpaid LOA. Strong communication and SAP/Workday knowledge are required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• 3+ years relevant experience or equivalent.
• Advanced Excel, Microsoft Suite, Workday process knowledge, SAP.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• General working knowledge of HR Benefit support practices and ServiceNow.

Responsibilities

• Review, approve, and correct non-company leave requests including FMLA and non-FMLA leaves managed by a Third-Party Administrator (TPA).
• Initiate leave requests for seasonal and temporary layoffs and confirm leave balances.
• Process Leave of Absence (LOA) and Short-Term Disability (STD) data and payments.
• Coordinate return-to-work and transitional work options with HR and Nursing stakeholders.
• Review insurance premium payments for employees on unpaid LOA and conduct absence report audits.
