Job summary

Sysco is seeking a Leave of Absence Analyst responsible for managing employee leave and return to work processes. This role ensures a smooth experience for colleagues while adhering to legal requirements and company policies.

You will evaluate leave requests, provide guidance, and collaborate with HR and management to ensure compliance with leave laws. Ideal candidates will have a degree in HR or Business Administration and strong knowledge of relevant laws.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in case management, HR, or leave administration preferred.
• Strong knowledge of leave laws (FMLA, ADA, etc.) and company policies.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to handle sensitive information with confidentiality.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate and process requests for various types of leave.
• Provide guidance to colleagues regarding leave policies and their rights.
• Review and audit Return to Work process for claims.
• Review medical documentation to ensure compliance with legal standards.
• Serve as a primary point of contact for colleagues on leave.
• Work with HR, payroll, and management for leave administration.
• Stay updated on leave laws to ensure compliance.
• Maintain accurate records of leave requests and approvals.
• Generate reports on leave trends and compliance metrics.
