Job summary

Prevea Health is seeking a Benefit Specialist to support benefits in hiring, open enrollment, and terminations. You will process benefit paperwork and events in the HRIS, complete ACA reporting, and coordinate disability. This role serves as the day-to-day benefits and administration point of contact.

You will conduct benefit inquiries, maintain compliance, and assist with open enrollment preparation while supporting the HR team. Prevea values care and collaboration across teams.

Qualifications

• Associate's degree in HR, business or related field required.
• Bachelor's degree in HR/business or related field preferred.
• Knowledge of recruitment practices and HRIS technologies.
• Ability to maintain strict confidentiality and work with sensitive information.

Responsibilities

• Provide benefits support in hiring, open enrollment and terminations.
• Process benefit paperwork and HRIS events; coordinate ACA reporting and follow up.
• Coordinate disability and manage COBRA paperwork with 3rd party vendors.
• Maintain employee benefit binders and ensure timely monthly benefit reconciliations.
