Job summary

Gila County Community College in Globe, AZ seeks an experienced HR professional to administer employee benefit plans and the HRIS. You will interpret regulations, develop policies, process claims, and coordinate with insurers, vendors and plan sponsors.

Responsibilities include open enrollment coordination, billing audits, disability and FMLA administration, ADA accommodations, and generating complex HR reports.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in HR or related field and five years HR experience with Benefits Administration and HRIS.
• PHR or Certified Benefits Professional preferred; valid driver's license.
• Experience interpreting regulations, policy development, and coordinating with vendors.

Responsibilities

• Administers medical, dental, vision, life, and unemployment insurance programs; processes enrollments and changes.
• Audits and reconciles monthly insurance bills; manages carrier statements and deductions.
• Administers disability and FMLA; coordinates with benefit administrators on claims and accommodations.
• Provides HRIS support; liaises with IT, Finance, Payroll; generates complex reports.
• Supports Wellness Program; coordinates participation and ambassadors; maintains Wellness list.
• Serves as Local Board Secretary to PSPRS/CORP; prepares meetings and records; responds to appeals.
• Administers Tuition Reimbursement Program; conducts employee training on HR topics.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
