AlphaStaffHCM is seeking a Benefits Compliance Specialist to support administration and regulatory compliance of health and welfare programs. This role collaborates with Benefits, HR, and Payroll teams, and external brokers and TPAs to ensure accurate, compliant benefits management.

The ideal candidate will have CEBS/SHRM certifications, experience with Form 5500 reporting, and a strong eye for detail in a PEO or carrier environment. Office-based role with competitive compensation and benefits.

Qualifications

• CEBS or SHRM certifications preferred.
• Experience with Form 5500 reporting.
• Experience in benefits administration within a PEO/insurance/broker environment.

Responsibilities

• Manage benefits compliance calendar and regulatory deadlines.
• Coordinate required employee benefit notices and disclosures.
• Support administration of health, welfare, and voluntary plans.
• Assist with Form 5500 filings, audits, and annual testing.
• Develop reports and compliance tracking tools.
• Respond to inquiries from employees and clients.
• Support vendor performance reviews and service delivery.
