Job summary

The Standard is seeking a dedicated claims and leave administrator in Atlanta, GA, to act as the primary liaison for policyholders, employers, and employees regarding life, disability, and leave claims. You will manage claims end-to-end, coordinate paid parental leave and death claims, and support premium administration and contract interpretation.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in business or related field, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• 3+ years of experience in leave management, STD, LTD, and life insurance (employer, broker, or carrier).
• Experience managing claims processes and resolving complex customer inquiries.
• Experience in Oracle or other Benefits Administration programs.
• Strong knowledge of benefit contract interpretation and premium administration.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the primary contact for policyholders, employers, and employees on claims and coverage inquiries.
• Administer life, disability, and leave claims, including coordination of paid parental leave and death claims.
• Resolve escalations related to claims, billing, and contract interpretation.
• Partner with HR and Benefits teams across multiple locations.
• Provide reporting on claims status, outstanding items, and Evidence of Insurability.
