Job summary

TEKsystems is seeking a Benefits Analyst to act as the primary service contact for an assigned benefits book of business. The role develops strong relationships with clients, carriers and team members as part of the Career Foundations Program in the Northeast Series.

The position is hybrid in West Hartford, CT, with a pay range of $24.00-$26.44 per hour. It emphasizes administrative support, data and financial analysis, and collaboration with other practices while providing training for

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a business-related program preferred or equivalent education and/or experience required.
• Ability to efficiently organize work and manage time in order to meet deadlines.
• Exceptional verbal, written, and interpersonal skills.
• Highly proficient in the Microsoft product suite.
• Ability to use office equipment such as a computer, keyboard, calculator, photocopier, and facsimile machine.
• Ability to work on a computer for a prolonged amount of time.

Responsibilities

• Provide key administrative support involving client written and verbal communications, client filing, and client data management.
• Provide data analysis and financial analysis support to client team.
• Perform benefit benchmarking that helps team to evaluate client benefit programs.
• Prepare renewal and marketing reports, RFPs, presentations and correspondence.
• Engage other specialized practice areas for projects such as Marketing and Communications and Compliance, as directed.
• Coordinate meeting schedules and prepares meeting minutes.
• Provide key support involving vendor and client correspondence.
• Resolve standard industry issues such as claims resolutions, billing discrepancies, eligibility issues and web technology.
• Review and edits agreements and documents such as employee booklets and carrier contracts.
• Develop a basic understanding of our clients’ business.
• Meet regularly with team members to collect desired tasks and deadlines and provides team members with regular and consistent status updates as to current projects and deadlines.
