Ultimate Staffing is seeking a Benefits Specialist to administer comprehensive employee benefits programs and ensure smooth enrollment cycles in a dynamic work environment. The role involves collaboration with vendors and internal teams to deliver accurate benefits data, compliant processes, and effective employee communications.

The ideal candidate will manage enrollments, inquiries, and reporting, while improving enrollment procedures and ensuring adherence to ACA, COBRA, HIPAA, and FMLA

Qualifications

• Experience with benefits administration is preferred.
• Strong data analysis and reporting skills.
• Knowledge of federal and state benefits regulations is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Administer employee benefit programs, including medical, dental, vision, life insurance, disability, retirement, wellness, and voluntary benefits.
• Process benefit enrollments, changes, and terminations in Workday.
• Serve as the primary point of contact for employee benefit inquiries and issue resolution.
• Coordinate with benefit vendors, brokers, and insurance carriers to ensure accurate and timely service delivery.
• Audit benefits data and maintain accurate employee records.
• Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local regulations related to benefits administration, including ACA, COBRA, HIPAA, and FMLA.
• Prepare benefits reports and analyze enrollment trends.
• Open Enrollment ManagementPlan, coordinate, and execute the annual open enrollment process.
• Partner with internal stakeholders and benefits providers to develop enrollment materials and employee communications.
• Conduct benefits presentations, information sessions, and employee education meetings.
• Monitor enrollment activity and ensure timely completion of employee elections.
• Troubleshoot enrollment issues and provide support throughout the enrollment period.
• Evaluate post-enrollment data and recommend improvements to future enrollment processes.
