Empower Retirement, LLC is seeking a Benefits Analyst to administer and optimize employee benefit programs in a high‑volume HR environment. You will oversee enrollment, eligibility, and communications while partnering with vendors and internal stakeholders to ensure compliant and efficient operations.

The role emphasizes HIPAA/ERISA compliance, data integrity, and collaboration across teams; a strong Excel and HRIS background is essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in HR or related field or 7+ years benefits administration experience.

Responsibilities

• Administer and maintain employee benefit programs (medical, dental, life, AD&D, disability, HSAs, 401(k), pension, COBRA).
• Maintain enrollment records, eligibility, and coverage changes with data accuracy.
• Support onboarding/offboarding, qualifying life events, and coverage termination.
• Serve as primary benefits inquiries contact, guiding on plan provisions and coverage.
• Assist with development and documentation of benefits programs and communications.
• Prepare benefits communications for annual enrollment and plan changes.
• Coordinate annual open enrollment activities and data validation.
• Compile benefits data for regulatory reporting and HR audits.
• Review and maintain plan documentation (Form 5500, SPDs).
• Perform data audits and drive process improvements for data integrity.
• Coordinate wellness programs with vendors and track outcomes.
