Job summary

Memorial Health is seeking a benefits professional to provide consulting and analytical support for the design, implementation, and administration of our benefit programs. The role focuses on monitoring trends and ensuring regulatory compliance while leveraging automated solutions to optimize processes.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree, preferably in business, human resources, or related discipline (or equivalent work experience).
• CEBS or CBP designation is preferred.
• Four years of professional employee benefits experience with strong knowledge of plan design, automation, administration and compliance for retirement and health and welfare programs, ERISA and related laws.
• Three years of experience utilizing information systems to perform complex data analysis is required.
• Experience administering automated benefit self-service programs is required.
• Experience with Lawson HRIS, Crystal Reports and MS Add-ins is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provides consulting and analytical expertise to support the development, design, implementation and administration of benefit programs, practices, and policies.
• Monitors benefit trends and stays abreast of applicable benefits legislation.
• Analyzes, evaluates and develops best practice recommendations to maintain a competitive benefits program, ensuring compliance with applicable laws, regulations and policies and utilizing automated system solutions and process re-engineering.
• Investigates new benefits, coordinates benefit integration projects and supports the delivery and communication of benefit programs.
