New LHRC External Career Site is seeking a Benefit Programs Specialist II to determine and re-determin eligibility for financial assistance, food stamps, medical assistance and other social services per state guidelines. The role requires independent judgment on complex cases with support when needed.

Primary tasks include interviewing clients, explaining programs, processing applications, maintaining records, and coordinating with service providers while upholding confidentiality and ethics.

Formación

• Working knowledge of public service organizations, eligibility rules, and social service programs.
• Math skills to calculate percentages, formulas and averages.
• Ability to communicate effectively with a broad range of people.
